Llanrwst Pont Fawr – a beautiful rainbow bridge of lighting
To say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing NHS heroes and all the key workers of North Wales – Illuminated Events in conjunction with local residents Geraint Jones and Gary Davies, lit up the beautiful Pont Fawr and Tu-Hwnt-I’r Bont tea rooms in Llanrwst with multi-coloured rainbow lighting.
The beautiful and historic Llanrwst Bridge – Pont Fawr – was transformed with our LED lighting, into a multi-coloured rainbow bridge of light – to become a positive beacon of hope for the North Wales community.
Pont Fawr – a rainbow bridge of light in Llanrwst
In the historic town of Llanrwst – the beautiful grade 1 listed bridge called Pont Fawr, crosses the river Conwy.
The ancient 3 arched stone bridge, said to have been designed by Inigo Jones and built around 1636, is a cherished landmark of North Wales.
With its beautiful arch shape, the Llanrwst bridge made the perfect canvas to illuminate with our outdoor LED lighting fixtures and transform in to a giant rainbow bridge of light.
The rainbow bridge of light was a positive beacon of hope – proudly sending out a symbolic message of illumination, to thank the amazing staff of the NHS – and all of the Key workers of North Wales.
Tu-Hwnt-I’r Bont – magical rainbow lighting – on a fairy-tale house
Dating from 1480, the beautiful Tu-Hwnt-I’r Bont in Llanrwst, is a tiny stone house which is covered with ivy and looks like a scene straight out of a magical fairytale.
Now owned by the National Trust, Tu-Hwnt-I’r Bont is an iconic landmark of Llanrwst and North Wales.
The beautiful little ivy covered building is now a traditional Welsh tea room and is one of the most photographed buildings in all of North Wales.
This fairytale like building looked stunning lit up with a spectacular rainbow of coloured lighting, which wrapped around its ivy covered walls.
The much treasured North Wales landmark glowed vibrantly with a rainbow of rich coloured lights and looked like a scene straight out of a fairytale.
What a beautiful way to say thank you to the amazing staff of the NHS – and all of the Key workers of North Wales.
A Heartfelt message of thanks from Llanrwst to the NHS
The beautiful Pont Fawr rainbow brige of light, together with the Tu-Hwnt-I’r Bont Tea Room lit up with rainbow coloured lighting – looked like a magical scene from a fairy-tale.
Together the two illuminated landmarks created an amazing night-time atmosphere, the likes of which has never been seen before in Llanrwst.
The beautiful rainbow of lights sent out a heartfelt message of thanks to the amazing staff of the NHS and the key workers of North Wales.
